Short Description of the Occurrence Generative Art, the Artwork and Project

OCCURRENCE GENERATIVE ART

The Mother Minute/Football Mother Minute (MM/FMM) artwork belongs to the Occurrence Generative Art (OCC GEN ART). This is a (long form) generative art created in digital surroundings, and so the MM/FMM artwork consists of the originative variable painting (the q-painting) with the assembler program, as well as the seven co-series of generated NFT paintings. NFT paintings can be made only through the q-painting and the assembler program, and the appearance of the individualized art piece cannot be known before it is generated. NFT series are not curated from the part of the artist; on the contrary, every single generated art piece is equally available to be introduced to the crypto space. In the conceptual, visual, and technological respect, all co-series are the embodiment of the same creative principle (artistic method), which gives them aesthetic consistency and coherency.

In Occurrence Generative Art the artwork is generated by the event's occurrence, grasped in a time unit. The occurrence produces data which uniquely identify one event from all the others; these data are represented by the assigned variable visual elements. As the data values will be different for every occurrence, and they have assigned visual qualities, it is possible to generate multiple art pieces according to the same creative principle - the art pieces of unique and unrepeatable appearance, but akin with regard to the visuality and meaning. The inner relations of the elements, i.e. the visual composition of NFT painting, uniquely structures the data and grants them meaning, so that the generated art piece indicates the occurrence univocally.

Since the visual elements and their composition represent the data about the occurrence, but not the occurrence as such (or some being), the OCC GEN ART artworks constitute the abstract representational art. The representational relation is directed to the overall structure of the NFT painting – the unique ordering of its representational content and data, so that there is an aesthetic unity between them, based upon the artistic concept. The abstract nature of the data, represented by the visual elements, avoids the figuration and implies abstract visual expression.
